News: Issues with Sambucci Resolved
Crain’s is now reporting that things are back on track for the relocation of Sambucci Bros.
From the article:
“Everything is settled,” said Danny Sambucci Jr., whose father opened the auto parts yard nearly 60 years ago. “They resolved everything. We have no problems.”
Sounds like the information from the NYCEDC and readers of the site was dead on. That quotation pretty much sums things up, and it’s definitely good news.

well avella is going to fight making collage point an industrial area. and why has the city only made 4 little deals? what about all the big legitimate businesses how come none of them have signed on yet ? im for fixing the area up but i don’t like the way the city is going about it. they have neglected this area for years and now are trying to strong arm these people. from what i hear the city is offering 60% of value to the other businesses that they made the sambucci deal just to get a big fish on 126st . the city must be fair and not say were paying a lot of $$ for the land because it is the peoples land and it was not for sale, so i hope the city does the right thing
