News: Queens Borough President Approves of Plan
As expected, Queens Borough President Helen Marshall released her report on the Willets Point plan and issued her approval.
She did list some conditions in the report, mainly including affordable housing, making every effort to avoid eminent domain, and guaranteeing a convention center.

they should just agree to do the whole housing part as “affordable” .. who wants to pay big $$ to live in the LGA flight path and at the cross roads of the three major highways..
as long as they do a high class hotel and convention center and tons of retail.. even a food center like they have in chelsea would be cool..
give some space to Soni and Fodera and lets start ripping the place up.
