Develop Willets Point

There’s a little more on the breakup between ACORN and Save Willets Point from the NY Daily News via On Ny Turf.

Again, Save Willets Point became infuriated when they realized that ACORN was only out to push their affordable housing goals and not the issue of eminent domain as it pertains to the businesses SWP represents.

Here at DWP, I can’t say I agree with either one of the groups, but it can only benefit supporters of the plan when the opposition splits.
